What youll do

  • Has primary responsibility for the sale of all senior market products for acquisition of new contracts in the senior market segment as well as retention of current members.

  • Has primary responsibility for the sale of all individual direct enrolled products for acquisition of new contracts in under age 65 segment as well as retention of current members.

  • Attends and assists in conducting individual market events including sales events, educational events, health fairs, and commercial market group opportunities (EGWP). There will be 5-6 events per month from January to August. There will be 45-55 events during the Annual Enrollment Period and Open Enrollment Period (September to December).

  • Responsible for one-to-one and one-to-many in-person, telephonic or virtual appointments.

  • Responsible for outreach efforts to support retention goals.

  • Update prospect information within the Sales Database systems to include Lead Tracking System (LTS), METS, or CRM.

  • Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of trends in the Individual Market as well as the competition within this market segment. Overcome jeopardy situations with analysis and knowledge of our competition.

  • Must be available for early morning, evening hour or weekend activities.

  • Maintain excellent communication with management and other department members as well as outside entities.

  • Knowledge and compliance of Kansas Insurance Department (KID) and Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) marketing and regulations.

  • Continues personal development through training, continuing education, and other information sources.
