JOB SUMMARY:

The Department of Chemistry at Adelphi University invites applications for adjunct professor (part-time) positions beginning August 2023.

SALARY INFORMATION:

In compliance with New York’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary for this position is $1,732 per credit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. The successful candidate will be expected to teach general chemistry laboratory, or organic chemistry laboratory.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  2. An advanced degree in any area of chemistry or a closely-related, chemistry-intensive field is required.

  3. A Ph.D. in any area of chemistry or a closely-related, chemistry-intensive field is preferred.
