Description We are in search of a Medical Payment Poster Specialist to become a significant part of our team in Garden Grove, California. This role involves meticulously processing payments, mitigating discrepancies, and ensuring proper documentation in our revenue cycle operations. The specialist will collaborate with the revenue cycle team to upkeep efficient and precise financial records.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and document payments, rejections, adjustments, and denials for individual accounts.

• Collaborate with team members or directly engage with payers to rectify payment discrepancies.

• Conduct research and resolve rejected payments within set timeframes, documenting all actions taken.

• Identify and process refund requests for credit balances, ensuring proper documentation.

• Uphold organized financial transaction records and account adjustments.

• Effectively monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.

• Support the revenue cycle team by performing additional duties as required.

• Accurately process customer credit applications. Requirements

• Proficiency in Appeals, with a clear understanding of the processes and guidelines involved.

• Knowledge and experience in managing Benefit Functions, ensuring proper application and adherence to relevant policies.

• Familiarity with Billing Functions, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency in managing patient accounts.

• Expertise in Claim Administration, with the ability to handle, process, and track medical claims efficiently.

• Experience in Cash Posting, ensuring accurate record keeping and management of financial transactions.

• Demonstrated ability in Posting Payments, ensuring all payments are correctly logged and accounted for.

• Experience with Government Grants, including application, management, and reporting.
