Job Summary
The Fabrication Operator (A) is responsible for working in manufacturing, performing task such as polishing acrylic, assembling cabin windows and pilot windows, cutting acrylic using hand tools such as band saws and manual saws, running custom machinery such as stretch machines, data entry, moving large pieces of acrylic (IE canopies, acrylic sheets), layup, coating, and setting up ovens and autoclaves. The Fabrication Operator (A) will support the manufacturing ramp up of windows, canopies and windshields for defense and commercial aircrafts.
2nd Shift Time: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Job Responsibilities

Become certified at the Lean Foundation level and implement at least 1 Kaizen per month
Support the team and TL in problem solving, contributing ideas based upon own experience of their tasks
Be an active member of the team, promoting collective engagement with each other
Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements:

Export Control regulations
Responsible for recording and maintaining accurate production records to ensure compliance
Will be working while wearing a respirator
Will work with chemicals and resins in the manufacturing
Will use measuring tools, such as: Micrometer, Scale and Calipers to ensure compliance to blueprint
Will comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions outline in manufacturing documentation
Will be working in a team environment
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Fluent in English and able to demonstrate strong Reading and Writing operational proficiency
Able to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds assisted
US Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ASI
Has experience working in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment
