A family-owned business known for producing high qaulity conveyor belts is looking for a Belt Technician. I have a job opening available in Gastonia, North Carolina, at Belt Shop Inc. The shift is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The pay range is anywhere from $16-$20 an hour.

salary: $16 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Transfer tools, parts, equipment and supplies to and from work stations

• Must be able to use precision measuring tools

• Must be able to operate forklift

• Measure and cut extrusion rubber and load molds

• Set up and adjust carious vulcanizing presses for correct pressure, heat and time

• Maintain a clean work environment

• Belt splicing

• Reccomend splice lengths

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
