Prepare complete cost estimates for utility-scale solar projects to aid management in bidding on or determining the price of services. Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Evaluate the cost effectiveness of projects and services, monitoring actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. Gather historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future projects. Establish cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures. Actively participate in the estimate review process.
