Retail Associate

Geneseo Hardware & Rental is looking to add a part-time Associate to their team!

Duties to include:

-Welcome customers to the store and provide assistance in a friendly, knowledgeable manner -Assist customers with product selection, providing advice on features, benefits, and usage of products -Answer questions regarding store merchandise, pricing, availability, and special orders -Using cash registers or other point-of-sale systems, process sales purchases -Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices, and restocking shelves as needed -Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner -Follow safety procedures at all times -Assist in setting up displays, arranging advertising material, and helping with special events -Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, stocking shelves, organizing displays, and keeping the checkout area neat

Requirements:

-Strong customer service focus -Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills -Attention to detail -Building trades knowledge/experience strongly preferred -Previous retail experience a PLUS

Part-time, year-around opportunity currently available, starting at $15.00/hour (negotiable, based upon experience)
