We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our diverse team in Geneva and be a part of our life-changing mission. The hours of this position are 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

About our school:

Marklund Day School is a non-public state-certified school that partners with area school districts to provide a highly specialized education experience. The therapeutic, sensory-driven Multi-Needs Program serves individuals ages 3 through 21 with medical, developmental, and physical disabilities. Through the Life Skills Program, teachers and paraprofessionals provide individualized functional curriculum and supports for students who are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, specific learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.

You will make a difference in the lives of our students in the following ways:

  • Conduct Functional Analysis Assessment and Functional Behavior Assessments

  • Write and implement behavior plans

  • Create appropriate data collection systems to track student progress

  • Report quarterly on behavior goals and data included in a student’s IEP

  • Facilitate weekly behavior support meetings

  • Provide ongoing coaching and training within and outside of the classroom

  • Train and supervise classroom Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs)

  • Lead crisis team as a Professional Crisis Management (PCM) trainer

Required Experience:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field required

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification with a supervisory endorsement required

  • Experience working with students with multiple needs and autism required

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements
