What We Offer: Health benefits, including telehealth medical services, Dental & Vision Life, AD&D & Disability (paid for by the company) 401K with a company match Essential Duties: Responsible to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls. Coordinates the manufacturing launch for new or revised products. Oversees the analysis and design of lean manufacturing cells using effective systems and tools to optimize use of space, equipment, material and personnel Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of processes and related equipment Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results Confers with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes Develops work aids and/or documentation for products in order to train assembly personnel Confers with supply chain and engineering staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods and quality results Designs, develops, tests, sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of machinery and equipment according to specifications and quality standards Applies statistical methods and performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency Represents manufacturing and/or engineering on cross-functional teams Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization Adheres to all quality and safety standards Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned Available for travel as required Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities: Minimum five (5) years of related experience Bachelor degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience Experience in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar programs; CNC programming experience desired Strong knowledge in written product specifications Ability to organize and manage multiple products through manufacturing process Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills Possesses quality orientation and high attention to detail Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office) Experience in ERP systems, SAP desired Disclaimer: This job description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required for this role.
