\$40 an hour-Contract

Sussex County Government is currently seeking individuals to facilitate the Appeals Process as part of the 2025 Reassessment Project.

Sussex County is currently accepting applications for Assessment Referees. There will at least 16 spots to fill. Applicants must have knowledge of the assessment, real estate, and/or the appraisal process. Successful applicants should be generally available to hear appeals from February through May. A referee will be paid \$40.00 per hour to hear appeals.
