Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Georgetown, Kentucky

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in our manufacturing company located in Georgetown, Kentucky. This role primarily involves processing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate records. This position will also entail monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary actions to collect delinquent payments. The work will be conducted partly remotely and partly on-site working 20-25 hours weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit accounts

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts and identify any overdue payments

• Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Conduct regular checks on customer credit accounts for any discrepancies

• Utilize MS Excel for data entry and accounts receivable tasks

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry for all customer credit applications

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations in the accounts receivable department

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding customer credit accounts.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Receivable Clerk role or similar.

• Proficient in MS Excel and data entry.

• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures.

• Excellent skills in mathematics, accounting and financial processes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification. A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.

• Knowledge of financial software would be advantageous.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on information at hand.
