Actalent Data Analyst in Georgetown, Kentucky

Description:

This position is with Toyota's corporate stamping group and will have the following responsibilities: - Be the Business Technology leader in a department of 100 diverse technical team members and assist team members to work with Toyota's Information Technology and Digital Engineering departments - Engage with department executives, management, engineers and technicians to create data-driven apps to improve safety, quality, schedule and cost - Utilize existing IT infrastructure to create systems and platforms: Leverage Sharepoint, Onedrive, and Teams - Develop, create and maintain low-code/no-code applications built using MS Power Platform including PowerBI, Power Automate, and Power Apps - Create visually simple reports from complex multi-source datasets - Manage and report data to stakeholders frequently to support business decisions & kaizen. - Connect business systems like SAP/Ariba and Tebis-Proleis with Power Platform to maximize manufacturing insights - SharePoint site development & maintenance - Manage and track software license needs within the department Interface with corporate and divisional IT groups

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or higher (prefer business analyst, computer science, engineering) - Passion for data, analysis, and problem solving - Experience creating data applications using citizen development tools (Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, SharePoint, etc.) - Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, and team player - Experience with data visualization tools, and technical reporting - Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, sheet joining) - Experience with at least one programming language (XML, Python, R, Java, C++, etc) - Experience working in an industrial environment is a plus - This is a work from office position, based in Georgetown, Kentucky - 10% travel to other Toyota facilities, including ability to travel to Canada and Mexico - Catia or other 3D CAD/CAM software knowledge is an asset
