Insight Global Equipment Planning Engineer in Georgetown, Kentucky

Job Description

A top automotive client in the Georgetown, KY area is looking for an Equipment Planning Engineer to join their Paint division. This resource will be supporting extensions and improvements of the new robotic and paint equipment in the plant. this resource will also be responsible for the following:

  • Project planning, bid spec, and equipment procurement

  • Ability to track and document throughout the install process

  • potential oversite of installation

  • Travel 20% of the time to other manufacturing centers across the country

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience with manufacturing equipment install oversight (robotics, conveyor, and paint preferred)

  • Experience with bid spec and equipment procurement

  • Project planning & documentation

  • Ability to travel nationally 20% of the time - Controls & Software experience (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Toyopuc, etc.)

  • Experience with safety standards (OSHA, PSHSR, ISO/NFPA, CSA, ANSI, etc.)

  • National Electric Code experience (NEC & NFPA)

  • Industry 4.0 experience (requesting new equipment, data monitoring, etc.)

  • Automotive, construction, military, or electric industry background null
