Description

Robert Half Lexington is on the lookout for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join a team in the manufacturing industry based in Georgetown, Kentucky, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with a range of administrative duties, such as processing invoices, data entry, and providing basic HR support. Responsibilities:

• Assist with various administrative tasks including data entry, scheduling, and reporting.

• Handle basic HR inquiries and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

• Manage and maintain digital and paper files related to HR, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality.

• Oversee employee records for HR/Payroll, conducting audits when necessary.

• Support the HR team in the execution of various projects.

• Analyze data and prepare reports, perform basic troubleshooting in HRIS and other systems.

• Handle the reception of visitors and phone calls, directing them to the appropriate person, answering questions, transferring calls, and taking messages.

• Assist in the ordering and stocking supplies for HR kitchen and office.

• Process, follow up, and manage invoices.

• Handle mail and package dispatch for the HR group

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in HRMS (Human Resource Management System)

• Experience with Benefit Functions in a manufacturing environment

• Strong Customer Service skills, able to effectively manage relationships with employees at all levels

• Knowledge of Paper Filing systems and procedures

• Excellent Data Entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience managing Digital Files, including uploading, storing, and retrieving files

• Ability to handle Confidential Documents with discretion and integrity

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Understanding of HR laws and regulations

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
