Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Position Summary: This position will maintain facility and equipment to accommodate production and warehousing in a safe working atmosphere. The Maintenance Engineer will follow through with all Preventive Maintenance on automation and equipment and troubleshoot and solve any automation or equipment problems that may affect safety, quality, or production. Additionally, this role involves working with outside contractors and vendors to maintain equipment and needed inventories, as well as communicating with the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for any activities that affect Safety, Quality, or Production and will also train co-workers while fostering a harmonious work environment.

Key Duties And Responsibilities: • Keep automation and machines running, including repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and assemblies • Handle lockout tag out and all safety-related issues while working on or around plant/production equipment • Fabricate and design engineering changes and modifications, and install, design, and fabricate some equipment for production operations • Maintain a safe work area and perform general housekeeping • Conduct training and communication activities

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Work Environment

The floor is not temperature controlled. The facility mostly operates injection molding machines. The company strongly promotes from within and will not hire someone they do not feel they can promote. Steel toes are required.
