Job Title: CMM Programmer / Inspector

Job Description
A CMM Programmer / Inspector's primary responsibility is to inspect parts produced by manufacturing and report on their dimensional accuracy and visual appearances. This includes analyzing first article pieces as well as final runs from production.
Responsibilities
Create CMM programs to inspect manufactured and incoming products. (Verisurf or Calypso experience required)
Create Inspection Data Sheets defining the method of inspection for all products manufactured.
Perform inspections and maintain records as required.
Maintain the calibration system of equipment used to verify product conformance.
Work with Engineers to perform risk analysis, determine inspection plan requirements, and support equipment validations.
Perform quality data analysis and apply problem-solving techniques.
Assist with the ISO program, including writing procedures, performing internal quality audits, and entering ERP quality-related data.
Operate in a team environment and assist in training new employees to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform any directly related duties assigned by management.
Essential Skills
CMM programming experience (Versurf, Calypso, or possibly PCDMIS)
Metrology experience, preferably in a machining environment
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001 or AS9100)
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Understanding of General Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
Dexterity and preciseness in operating gauges and testing equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report unsafe activities to a supervisor
Considerable mental and visual effort required

Work Environment
Current openings are available on 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday) and 2nd Shift (roughly 3pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00
