Koniag Professional Services (KPS) is seeking a highly qualified Senior Training Manager to support a government client. This position requires the individual to meet DOE requirements to qualify as a DC, UCNI RO, and DD.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Individual oversees and directs the development of DOE-wide classification, UCNI and EHSS CUI Training materials.

  • Individual oversees, directs, and conducts training on DOE classification and sensitive information policies, guidelines, and certifications at DOE facilities.

Requirements:

  • Individuals must meet DOE requirements to qualify as a DC, UCNI RO, and DD by the end of the contract transition period.

  • After the transition has occurred replacement individuals must be qualified as DC, UCNI RO, and DD at time of hire or promotion to this position. (See Training Requirements, pages 1 and 2 of this document).

  • Top-Secret clearance required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a scientific discipline (e.g., physical sciences, engineering, or mathematics)

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in the field of classification

  • Five (5) years of direct training experience with documented management ability

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Qualification as a DOE DC, UCNI RO, and/or DD at the time of hire

  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and computer-based training systems.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Individual must have minimum of six (6) years’ experience in the field of classification

  • Five (5) years direct training experience as well as documented management ability.

  • Individuals must have knowledge of modern training techniques encompassing the development of course syllabuses, student evaluations, recognition of individual student requirements, and utilization of computer- based training systems.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
