Fast Food and Counter Workers-Food Concessions(Mobile)- 5 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 01/30/2025-10/31/2025.

Duties: Perform variety of attending duties at mobile carnival food concessions. Set up, tear-down, operate mobile food concessions.

Work starts in Columbia County NY with additional work to follow in various locations along an itinerary: Palm Beach, Martin, Hillsborough, Polk Counties FL; Westchester, Albany, Saratoga, Columbia, Essex, Clinton, Ulster, Delaware, Washington, Rensselaer Counties NY; Tolland, New Haven Counties CT; Fryeburg, Oxford Counties ME.

Must commute from home at prior worksite, to next worksite. Optional transportation offered by the employer at no cost to the worker.

Work hours: Days and hours vary widely, ranging from 1pm- 10pm typically 40 hours/week. Employer will pay the prevailing hourly wage for each work location, ranging from $14.62 to $19.95, Minimum wage in NYS $15/hr

Merit increases and/or bonuses may be awarded at employer discretion.

Post-employment random drug testing and background checks may be required, at no cost to the worker. The job requires the applicant to be qualified, ready, willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment at all the designated worksites; and to follow workplace rules. No education or experience required.

Optional mobile housing (valued at $175.00 per week) and local convenience travel (valued at $25.00 per week) are available at no cost to the worker.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Fridays. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.46/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
