JOB REQUIREMENTS: ? KMS Industries, Inc., an MRA member, is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Spot Welder. Founded by a local family in 1971, KSM Industries, Inc.\'s metal fabricating services sought to meet the changing and complex demands of Wisconsin area capital goods manufacturers. KSM Industries specializes in high-quality sheet metal assemblies and weldments of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Duties Include: Operate spot welding equipment as directed; position parts in welding fixtures, clap assemblies or position materials to rigged stop gauges for welding; inspect quality of welds by use of test strips or impact testing as directed; clean, dress and maintain electrodes and holders. Use ruler and fixed gauges to check dimensions as directed. Perform related work as assigned, such as; grind or dress welds; use fork truck, crane or other material handling equipment to move or position material. Detailed instruction, close supervision, requires use of minimum judgment on routines and have little or no choice as to procedures; subject to process and final inspection; guidance provided on work variations and operating difficulties.
