Citigroup AVP, Data Analyst - Exception Governance-C12 in Getzville, New York

The Data Engineering Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

This position is required to address a need for comprehensive management of project-level exceptions which include tracking, categorizing, and managing exceptions across the Data program and providing a clear, consolidated view of risks and deviations. This comprehensive approach will ensure that exceptions are addressed in a timely and consistent manner, reducing escalation issues. This role will support more granular tracking, ensuring that all project-level activities and exceptions are accounted for. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic data from multiple sources. Strong communication and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Data analysis and reporting experience.

  • Advanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, and power query, VLOOKUP’s, and formulas.

  • Influencing skills. Articulates with confidence to senior management.

  • Strong attention to detail in supporting management reporting with clear and concise data analysis and presentation.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with strong PowerPoint skills.

  • Efficient and effective time management

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple groups/functions.

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Previous experience in a Project Management Office Governance role is preferred.

  • Experience working with Citi’s Project Tracking System (PTS) is preferred.

  • Financial industry experience preferred

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$70,080.00 - $105,120.00
