Citigroup Data Quality Lead Analyst in Getzville, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Quality Lead Analyst for its Getzville, New York location.

Duties: Provide guidance and oversight into critical data elements used for key banking processes and regulatory reports. Work with Global Risk stakeholders to ensure their data quality requirements are met and ensure that data quality issues originating from Consumer business processes are remediated in a timely manner in support of policy compliance objectives, employing the knowledge of data processing and quantitative techniques and hands on experience of Data Quality Metadata Management tools: Collibra Catalog, Metadata Hub, Data Lineage Tool Solidatus. Develop operational and oversight processes and procedures for Data Quality Measurement for Core Banking, Credit Cards, Commercial Payments, Credit Risk, Global Liquidity, Cash Management. Lead efforts to execute the requirements of the Data Management Policy to the expected degree of quality and within the strict timeframes, using linear programming and statistical data modelling skills as well as an understanding of banking regulations: CCPA, GDPR, CCAR, BCBS, Data Protection Act. Oversee establishment of detailed procedures to enable governance of data management processes, including management of data quality issues through metrics monitoring and establishment of appropriate quality assurance processes, using analytics tools SAS and IBM-Cognos, and Data Visualization Tools - Tableau and Power BI. Facilitate implementation of data quality rules throughout the Global Consumer Banking regions and lines of business. Oversee progress and execution of the Data Quality Management requirements. Collaborate with the Businesses, Technology, Chief Data Office, Operation Risk Management, Internal Audit and other related stakeholders and subject matter experts, utilizing Project Management and Agile skills, ALM-JIRA, ALM-Confluence, Scrum and Kanban Methodology, and Scaled Agile Framework. Meet with appropriate stakeholders to review, document use cases and requirements for system enhancements, and oversee escalation cases. Manage an inventory of system level issues and review with appropriate stakeholders. Support initiatives to improve the quality and usability of metadata within the organization. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Consultant, Data Architect, Data Engineer, Data Quality Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Process Reengineering Analyst or related position involving data stewardship, governance, and quality within banking industry. 6 years of experience must include: Collibra, Ab Initio; SAS, IBM Cognos, Tableau, DataStage, Informatica; Databases: DB2, Oracle, Hadoop; Agile, ALM-JIRA, ALM-Confluence, Scrum, Kanban, SAF; Core Banking, Credit Cards, Commercial Payments, Credit Risk, Global Liquidity, Cash Management; CCPA, GDPR, CCAR, BCBS, Data Protection Act; Python and Unix shell scripting; and Project Management.
