Graduate Technical Engineer.Optimizing stainless steel production planning processes to assure customer requirements, operating requirements, and optimum inventory requirements are met efficiently. Identification and monitoring of stainless steel production planning processes and optimizing these processes to improve efficiency. Assist in designing and developing systems for managing stainless steel production processes. Assist in implementing continuous improvement projects for planning processes. Implementing and monitoring process improvements using the principles of Lean Six Sigma. Capacity planning. Review production schedules and daily, monthly, and annual stainless steel production planning. Scheduling for all of the stainless steel mills and shops and for finishing and shipping. Analysis of on-time delivery. Assists in designing and monitoring quality control systems processes for all planning areas. Monitor total inventory control. A bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or Industrial Engineering is required. Proficiency in implementing continuous improvement projects for planning processes as shown by at least one month of experience in this area and proficiency in process improvement using the principles of Lean Six Sigma as shown by a Lean Six Sigma Certificate are required.
