Siemens Energy's blades and vanes casting operation in Gibsonton, Florida is looking forward to adding the passionate Ceramic Product Engineer to the team! You will join a team of experts and skilled workers with an opportunity to learn and meet ongoing growth targets. You will work in collaboration with the design team during and after product development and will have the opportunity to lead core development projects!

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Activelyparticipates with Siemens Energy design colleagues, during and afterproduct development.

• Definesprocess-relevant core geometry in collaboration with Siemens Energyengineering and internal resources.

• Participatesin design review and quotes.

• Plansmaterial and equipment needs for new components.

• Collaboratewith internal and external customer representatives to develop newproducts and support general program requirements.

• Leadscore development projects.

• Reviewcustomer specifications and blueprints to determine the procedures,testing, and routing sequences vital to meet requirements.

• Usesprocess knowledge, basic engineering principles, previous experience, andcreativity as vital to developing processes.

• Interpretsdimensional and other data to find opportunities and implement productimprovements.

• Recommendstooling improvements and coordinates reworks, including validation ofresults.

What You Bring

• BS inMechanical Engineering or another related field

• 3+more years of experience in investment casting supply chain (core orcasting preferred). Those with more years of experience may be consideredfor a higher level.

• Aerospacecasting experience preferred.

• SixSigma training preferred (Green or Black Belt).

• Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States without theneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. SiemensEnergy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible forinternal transfers.

• Thisposition will require an export license from the Department of Commerce,Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State,Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license isa prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work withexport-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
