Description

A local law firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic paralegal to join their growing practice in Gladstone, Oregon. This firm provides legal services in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense matters. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in family law, some background in criminal defense, and familiarity with local Portland courts.

Benefits available with this position include medical and dental; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan; and 2 weeks of paid vacation and 8 paid holidays per calendar year.

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook;

• Familiarity with Case Management Software and Management Systems;

• Experience with billing functions in a legal setting;

• Ability to manage and maintain calendars effectively;

• Experience in claim administration and complaint handling;

• Knowledge in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, or Criminal Litigation;

• Comprehensive understanding of legal procedures and protocols; and,

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
