HI LINE HOME PROGRAMS INC Family Support Specialist in GLASGOW, Montana

Position Overview

The Family Support Specialist (FSS) primarily assists families with the efficient use of resources and training programs for children with developmental disabilities. The FSS works directly within the family environment. Providing support to the family is accomplished by coaching parents in selected behavior skills to become the primary change agent in the development of the child.

Who We Serve

The Primary children's ages range from birth to 16 years and their families live in Richland, Phillips, Roosevelt, McCone, Valley, and Daniels counties.

 

 

* Requirements:*

  • Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or education field.
  • Certification is required after two years.
  • Applicants must have the ability to maintain rapport with the primary child and the entire family, teachers, and other professionals.
  • This position requires some travel, we do have company vehicles, but a reliable personal vehicle is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local and statewide services and common assessment tools is a plus.

Must pass a background check.

This position is full-time. 

The starting wage is $20.00 per hour
