Kelly Services Accountant in Glen Arm, Maryland

Exciting opportunity for an Accountant position temp to hire in Glen Arm, MD, US. The Accountant will collaborate with the Senior Accountant on various accounting functions, such as maintaining general ledger accounts, assisting with payroll processes, and preparing reports.

Temporary/contract to Hire

Hybrid work schedule: Onsite 4 days a week – work from home 1 days a week

Salary $70-$80k per year

Excellent benefits when hire permanent / ESOP

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare account reconciliations and manage general ledger accounts.

  • Handle amortizations, fixed asset depreciation, accruals, and cost allocations.

  • Assist in payroll processing and related journal entries.

  • Support the preparation and analysis of intercompany transactions for foreign subsidiaries.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal controls.

  • Research and interpret accounting policies to answer procedural questions.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role.

  • Must have General Ledger experience

  • Experience within Manufacturing industry a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Strong teamwork skills and a desire for professional growth.
