The ideal candidate would be someone with excellent communications skills, empathy, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.

Provide administrative and clinical management support as an Office Coordinator at CHOP. The ideal candidate is able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient services, including appointment scheduling, check-outs, and documentation.

Triage calls and respond to inquiries.

Manage records (charts, files, correspondences).

Help maintain systems, record-keeping and reporting methods, and procedures.

Provide administrative support for meetings, interviews, committees, and conferences.

Prepare presentations, letters, reports, memoranda, and related materials.

Manage office supplies for the department.

Assist new hires and provide employee support, including timekeeping.

Other duties and administrative support projects as required.

Education

Required:High school diploma/GED

Experience

At least three (3) years of administrative support in an academic, scientific, or office setting Preferred

At least one (1) year experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting Preferred Strong background in patient registration with Epic Preferred

Skills and Abilities

Basic knowledge of medical terminology, protocols, and HIPAA regulations

Intermediate proficiency with electronic medical record software (EPIC)

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and conflict resolution skills
