Swingen Construction Construction Carpenter in Glen Ullin, North Dakota
- Safety is big factor in our every day operations on the job sites, and we expect everyone to be a part of the safety program and contribute to the daily safety meetings.
- Bridge carpenters are expected to be familiar with and interpret plans to construct concrete forming operations of bridge components
- Be skilled and efficient with hand and power tools
- Concrete placement and finishing
- Along with assisting in safely erecting and dismantling of cranes.
- Assisting Superintendent with daily and weekly planning
- Being able to take a couple laborers and keep them busy
- Reading rebar plans and laying rebar out properly
- Equipment operation experience is preferred but not necessary
- Experience around cranes and heavy equipment is preferred
- OSHA 10
- Experience with rigging is preferred, if you are rigger certified that a plus!
- Knowledgeable with NOE Forms, or able to catch on quickly
- Havinga can-do attitude and being a part of the team
- Experience around pile driving is preferred
