Covius Services, LLC Deal Support Analyst in Glendale, Colorado

The Deal Support Analyst is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate completion of supporting the loan file review life cycle. This includes gathering business requirements, formatting client data tapes for system ingestion, loan file review system set up as well as deal specific reporting, analytics and tie out of final results.

Essential Functions

Utilize Microsoft SQL Server to write various SQL scripts including Select, Insert, Update and Delete queries.

Utilize Alteryx Business Intelligence Software to import and analyze loan level data, merge data, create calculations and run sample pools as needed.

Upfront mortgage data analysis, preparation and sampling.

Due diligence system set up and deployment.

Provide deal support including ad hoc requests, trouble shooting and system updates.

Provide suggestions to optimize integration of reports and the overall quality of the data.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficient with handling data in Excel, SQL or similar programs with the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of data

Advanced knowledge and expertise with Excel and proficient ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.

Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to accurately convey messages and share/receive knowledge.

Self-reliant and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

Detail oriented with analytical and critical thinking skills.

Commitment and ability to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Education

Associates degree required or the equivalent amount of relevant work will be considered in lieu.

Experience

Prior experience as a business or systems analyst required.

Experience with Alteryx or other analytical tool experience, as well as System Support experience is preferred.

1+ years of experience working with SQL required.

Mortgage or financial industry experience in a similar role is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Covius offers an extensive benefits package for all employees, including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)!

Compensation: $54,400 - $68,000 annualized with a 5% AIP opportunity.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon the office or meeting location.

Physical Demands and Activities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is frequently required to move about the office, operate a computer and other office machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; occasionally position self to maintain files; occasionally moves boxes weighing up to 10 lbs. Close and distance observation required with ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and have the ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
