Are you a compassionate and experienced nurse looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our team as a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. In this role, you'll provide critical and compassionate care to survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence, helping them through some of their most challenging moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical and forensic care to sexual assault survivors

• Complete competency checklists and continuing education annually

• Maintain DOH NYS SAFE certification and follow established SANE guidelines

• Participate in documentation, evaluation processes, and monthly meetings

• Take on-call shifts, responding within 60 minutes of the initial call

• Maintain examination room equipment and supplies

• Maintain records, statistics, and adhere to all SANE program protocols

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Registered Professional Nursing Program

• Current RN license in New York

• SANE program completion and DOH NYS SAFE certification required

• At least one year of medical-surgical or acute care/hospital nursing experience

• At least one year of forensic nursing experience

• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to handle patient care emergencies

Pay Details: $32.00 to $58.00 per hour
