Advantage XPO General Maintenance Technician in Golden, Colorado

Pay: $25.00/hr - $38.00/hr

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements: To qualify for this role, a High School diploma (or equivalent) is required, with preference given to those possessing some undergraduate business or trade school training. Candidates should have 4 years of experience and/or training involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills. A valid driver's license, fork truck operator's license, and JLG operator's license are also required.

Job Duties: Competently maintain, troubleshoot, and perform substantial equipment repairs while collaborating with the facilities maintenance team Conduct inspections and evaluations of operating characteristics such as speeds, pressures, vacuums, and vibrations Monitor features like wear and the replacement of expendables, including belts, hoses, fluids, and filters Perform preventative maintenance tasks and diagnose malfunctioning apparatus and systems, including HVAC equipment and fire life safety systems Address plumbing and electrical systems issues Manage transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, and variable frequency drives Repair damaged or broken wires and cables Maintain dock equipment and oversee building and parking lot lighting Address issues with photoelectric eyes, emergency lights, exit lights, and 120-volt outlets for exterior building lighting
