#Hybrid on-site with client 4 days per week.
As a Space Planning Manager, you will manage a team of Space Analysts/Planners and provide project management/coordination for Space Planning projects .

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage projects for all activities involved in space management/analytics; assign tasks for the team and ensure deliverables are Best in Class
Train, supervise, and evaluate direct reports to include completion of performance agreements, maintaining scorecards and submitting success stories
Responsible for analyzing data to develop insights-based analysis and presentation-ready reports along with recommendations geared towards our clients’ strategic objectives
Participate in the category review process coordinating activities with clientand retailer teams to provide complete category management solutions
Attend and participate in any client meetings when applicable and communicate/document shelving issues and/or success stories on a regular basis with client(s)
Oversee their team’s preparation of space management related presentation-ready materials needed to complete category reviews to include charts, graphs, velocity reports, financial information and planogram layouts; leverage automation capabilities wherever possible
Engage and maintain with client(s) to fully understand their needs and requirements and to devise a solution proposal which would meet client(s) expectation; represent the best Acosta Space Management has to offer and also be the voice of client to Acosta to assure their needs will be met
QUALIFICATIONS
College degree or work experience equivalent and 5 - 7 years relative experience in a Space Management related positio n or Space technology-based solution;5 years in the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry preferred
Experience managing a team of varying skills and experience
Demonstrate an advanced degree of proficiency in Windowsand related software applications, including Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI preferable
Experience with IRI and ACNielsen syndicated data preferred; proficiency in Apollo, Spaceman, or Blue Yonder (JDA) space management software
Effectively and independently conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and tools
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and independently manage projects while assuming responsibility for tracking and timing
