Programs will foster | | positive identity; education, employment, social, emotional and | | cultural competencies; community and civic involvement; health and | | life skills and a moral compass. | | | | Weekly Hours and Schedule | | | | - Part time, 7 hours per week | | - Tues and Thursday, 2:45pm-6:15pm | | | | | | Duties and Responsibilities: | | | | - Assist in providing fun, beneficial, and imaginative programs in | | the Teen Site. | | - Assist in maintaining the health and safety of all youth at the | | site | | - Assist in the promotion and interpretation of Club philosophies, | | methods, and accomplishments as they relate to teen programming. | | - Assist in providing employment, health, life skills and training | | opportunities to Club teens using needs-based and interest-based | | programs. | | - Utilizing Youth Development Strategies, ensure members | | self-esteem is maintained and enhanced through their Teen Site | | experience. | | - Support a culture of respect and trust with teen members. | | - Continually model and teach character, morality and ethics. | | - Build positive relationships with member families and the | | community. | | - Act as an advocate for members and the Teen Site. | | - Perform administrative tasks as required. | | - Other duties as required. | | | | | | Required Qualifications: | | | | - Demonstrated competence working with youth in grades 5-8. | | - Strong verbal and written communication skills. | | - Team player with high energy and strong interpersonal skills. | | - Reliable transportation, safe driving record, active drivers | | license, and automobile insurance | | - Position my require standing/sitting for extended periods of | | time, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, | | bending at the waist, and ability to lift, carry, pull or | | otherwise move objects up to 20lbs. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pay Range:$14.55 - $15.60 per hour | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
