Our client, a leading Diagnostics Manufacturing company, is seeking an Advanced Production Planner & Scheduler to join their team. As a Advanced Production Planner and Scheduler, you will be part of the Production team supporting key operational objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in production planning and scheduling.

Job Title: Advanced Production Planner & Scheduler

Location: Grand Island, NY

Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay Range: $25-30/hour

What’s the Job?

  • Plan and schedule all aspects of production, ensuring cost-effective and optimal production schedules.

  • Lead planning assignments, analyze data, and drive continuous process improvements to enhance key metrics such as OTIF, Backorder, Schedule Attainment, and Utilization.

  • Monitor movement of materials through the production cycle for timely delivery and manage material requirements to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

  • Provide input on rescheduling due to design changes, labor/material shortages, and other potential disruptions.

  • Collaborate with external departments, resolve inventory stock level risks, and analyze root causes of stock outs to implement corrective measures.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience in planning and scheduling or related roles.

  • Proficiency in ERP Systems (SAP) and strong knowledge of production planning.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of ISO/FDA, GMP regulations, and OSHA safety compliance.
