Location/Division Specific Information:

This is a 2nd shift position, which includes a 10% Shift Differential.

Hours: 2:30pm - 11:00pm Tuesday -Saturda y warehouse role in the Inventory Control department. Within the Inventory Control department, you will be in charge of ensuring the onsite and offsite inventory is accurate to ensure the needs of the supply chain, manufacturing and most importantly our customers are met daily. In addition to daily tasks, you will participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives.

A Day in the Life:

  • Perform stock checks to ensure inventory availability.

  • Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory availability.

  • Removal of discarded materials.

  • Provide in depth investigations of missing material.

  • Ensuring the onsite and offsite inventory is accurate to ensure the needs of the supply chain, manufacturing and most importantly our customers are met daily.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of general warehouse experience.

  • One to two years’ experience working with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and E1.

  • Experience with powered industrial trucks (Stackers, Swing Trucks, Power Walkies).

  • Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively.

  • Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.

  • Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more, with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $15.00–$21.60.
