Leitner-Poma Of America Electrical Lift Maintenance Technician I in Grand Junction, Colorado

JOB SUMMARY Our company is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Lift Maintenance Technician I to provide expert maintenance and repairs for a wide variety of ski lifts, gondolas, and tram systems. This role will work directly with customers to troubleshoot faulty electrical systems and diagnose the root cause of any malfunction using diagnostic tools & technical expertise. Diagnostic information, customer communications, and services performed will all be documented in LPOA's task management system in compliance with health & safety regulations as well as standard operating process.

This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $22.00-$26.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED equivalent. At least 1 year of experience with installation and maintenance of AC and DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB). Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting complex control & safety circuits. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel up to 80% of the time. Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet. Authorized to work in the United States of America. Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Licensed as a journeymen or master electrician. Third or fourth year electrical apprentice. Previous experience in ski lift maintenance & repair.
