Validation-Verification Body Accreditation Manager

Job Description: This full-time position will manage and oversee our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Validation and Verification Body accreditations. This includes accreditation to ISO 17029 and ISO 14065, ensuring adherence to ISO 14064-3 requirements and ensuring compliance with all other GHG program accreditation requirements. This role will provide the opportunity to join our growing GHG assurance business as we expand globally into new voluntary and compliance programs. Job duties and expectations include: Manage ourcompliance with accreditation bodies and programs, including: ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) California Air Resources Board Washington Dept. of Ecology Oregon Dept. of Environmental Quality Canada (Province specific and Federal) ACR, Climate Action Reserve, Gold Standard, Verra Other carbon offset programs Obtain new program accreditations and scope extensions as needed to support business needs Support the our Mexico City office for compliance with the Entidad Mexicana de Acreditacion (EMA), the Mexico accreditation body Manage compliance for our Program Quality Manual including oversight of: Auditor competency system and documentation On-going auditor performance monitoring Pre-engagement documentation (client information, contracts, team selections) Conflict-of-interest reviews and documentation Subcontractors (competencies, contracts, conflict-of interest) Periodic internal audits Program feedback and improvements Record keeping Other internal process to improve performance and ensure compliance Candidate must be collaborative, a quick learner, have strong written and verbal communications skills, possess a commitment to excellence, and the ability to work independently. Location: Remote or located at one of our offices (Wakefield, MA or Grand Junction, CO).

Your qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Technical or Business area 3+ years experience with ISO standards 17029, 14065 and 14064. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with carbon programs such as the ACR (formerly American Carbon Registry), Climate Action Reserve (CAR), Climate, Community, and Biodiversity Standard (CCB), Gold Standard, or Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). Experience with GHG reporting programs such as Airport Carbon Accreditation, California, Canada, CORSIA, Oregon, Washington, The Climate Registry, CDP, GHG Protocol. Experience with sustainability reporting requirements. Knowledge in environmental life-cycle analysis standards. Spanish language proficiency
