Job Description

Summary of Job Purpose:

Coordinate and expedite the flow of component parts and supplies within or between departments in the industrial operations in support of achieving production schedules and customer satisfaction in terms of TAT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate and adhere to all shop safety (HSE), product safety (SMS), and Quality policies, procedures, and requirements Ensures that Safety is a priority.

• Participate in 5S / cleanliness of the workshop and general/office workstations

• Complete daily workstation checks.

• Respect the QRQC process i.e. Stop at first deviation/non-conformance and logging of the problem on the QRQC board.

• Adhere to company policies (Distractions, Clocking, Work Schedule, Dress code etc.).

• Track part shortages of all assets in WIP and acquire replacement parts as they become available

• Assist with the processing of parts identified by technical support for scrapping or PLD return in SAP

• Assist with allocations of parts solutions such as RTS and cannibalization in relationship with the MRP group.

• When required, coordinate with kitting scheduler for the allocation of parts required from stock to ensure the highest priority assets are obtaining the parts.

• Assist shop by moving material between areas and organizing WIP queues in order of priorities if necessary.

• Assist in expediting the flow of material from the warehouse/Incora to the workshop.

• Create SAP purchase requisitions and perform MIGO transactions as materials and supplies are received in MRO

• Participate in the company Innovation program by identifying, implementing and recording improvements in your area

Job Requirements

Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma preferred.

• Beginner to intermediate computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word & Excel.

• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of transaction processes within SAP.

• Good organizational skills as well as personal, email and phone communication skills.

• Flexibility and multi-tasking capabilities.

• Must inform supervisor promptly of all deviations noted during the completion of work assignments.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, talk and hear

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
