Lockheed Martin Integration and Test Engineer in Grand Prairie, Texas

We are seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to join the team at our beautiful Grand Prairie, TX location!!

What You Will Be Doing

The Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) position will be responsible for all efforts supporting Integrated Air Missile Defense to ensure technical excellence and mission success. This individual will perform both technical and programmatic oversight duties covering a broad range of I&T technologies and activities, including subsystem integration and test, flight testing, lead and/or support laboratory testing, and preparation of test-related documentation. Close coordination with multiple laboratories, facilities, and teams is necessary.

Primary duties will be to drive technical excellence and mission success through daily interaction program technical leads and IPTs. Responsible for development of integration and test (I&T) requirements and plans, and coordination and execution of tests. This includes laboratory tests and HWIL through subsystem and system ground tests and flight testing. Success criteria will include technical achievement, schedule, and cost, as well as managing team responsibilities and tasking.

Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. This individual will communicate technical status and issues internally to program and functional leadership, as well as externally to customers. Works closely with the technical leads on program to ensure appropriate staffing and resources and makes certain that appropriate reviews are conducted to ensure engineering excellence.

Must be able to work with other Departments (e.g. Field Test Operations, Engineering Labs, etc) to ensure overall program success. Responsible for oversight of one or more junior engineers who will perform some integration and testing activities. Candidate must be comfortable coordinating with various groups to ensure program requirements are being met and in support of various test activities.

Experience with missile systems including launch systems is preferred. Technical skills should include knowledge of system design and test, modeling and simulation, HWIL, ground and flight test planning and execution, TM/FTS development and certification, and test anomaly resolution.

Domestic travel and some and foreign travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

A degree in engineering or technical field is required.

Experience with missile systems including launch systems and targeting/fire control elements.

Ability to travel to conduct test activities.

**Candidate must have a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

Experience with missile processing

Experience generating test plans and procedures

Experience planning and coordinating flight tests

Prior CAM experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
