Position Summary
This position is responsible for direct provision of counseling and educational services within the scope of their licensure or certification within the Behavioral Health program. (Batterers Intervention Treatment Program)
$5,000 signing bonus- split between your first full paycheck and after your 9-month work anniversary
Salary Range:$48,000-$60,000 annually

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides counseling, psycho-educational services, screens and assessments.
- Coordinates services as required by the program.
- Provides case consultation within the agency and with community resources.
- Plans and provides educational presentations as requested.
- Maintains productivity expectations.
- Completes all necessary paperwork as required.
- Provides emergency assistance as needed to clients.
- Drives for Agency business.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must compose self and their practice under the Code of Ethics of their profession.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Knowledge of direct counseling, therapeutic services, and child welfare programs.
- Ability to communicate in both verbal and written form.
- Ability to complete of paperwork and meet required deadlines.
- Ability to engage clients in treatment.
- Ability to communicate with outside agencies while maintaining all HIPPA requirements.
- Ability to address issues affecting indigent populations.
Recommended Employment Qualifications
Education:
- - Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Social Work (or a related field) from a four year college or university.
- - Bi-lingual; Spanish-Speaking individual is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of three years of work experience in Human Services in strongly preferred.
