Description We are in the process of hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role involves managing daily account operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and facilitating prompt payments. Handling accounts payable, you will be actively involved in reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and answering queries related to payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately receive and record invoices, ensuring timely processing.

• Handle account reconciliation tasks daily, maintaining precise records.

• Ensure prompt and accurate payments by processing invoices and payment runs.

• Liaise with invoicing contractors or businesses to request receipts of statements when not provided.

• Manage the matching and filing of invoices and receipts.

• Perform reconciliation of business accounts to ensure the amount paid reflects the goods and services received.

• Answer queries from suppliers, contractors, and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made.

• Distribute invoice copies to finance staff and other relevant departments.

• Carry out other duties as assigned, supporting the overall functioning of the accounts department. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge in performing Check Runs

• Ability to handle Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in using QuickBooks
