LICSENSED HVAC Service Technician.

Grand Rapids, MI.

Job Description

• The Service Technician will service local West Michigan customers at the Commercial or Industrial levels within an hour of Grand Rapids, MI.

• The travel could be to the Lakeshore, Kalamazoo, or North about an hour.

• Perform PM, troubleshooting, or part replacements for various HVAC units.

• On call 5-6 times a year.

• A solid commercial or industrial history would be a good fit for the role.

• Pay ranges from 75k-90k based on experience and interview.

Skills

• HVAC Degree

• EPA 1 and 2 or Universal

• Experience with servicing rooftops, chillers, heat pumps, ventilation, or boilers

• Electrical Troubleshooting

• Good Driving Record and DOT

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial service technician experience

Work Environment

Mostly working individually (80% of the time) at customer locations of commercial or industrial environments. Total of 55 Technicians in the department. Clock in once they show up at the shop or onsite at a customer. Shift: 7am - 4:30pm. OT: 5-10 Hours. PPE: Work Boots, Blue Pants (Dickey) and Hand Tools (Sockets, Wire Strippers, Cordless Drill, and Electrical Meter. QA Provides: Shirts, Hard Hats, Gloves, Glasses, and Power Tools.
