Job Title: Civil Engineering Technician

Job Description

Seeking Civil Quality Assurance (CQA) Technicians who will be traveling to various landfills to perform on-site documentation and recording of daily activities, ensuring the accuracy of work done by general contractors. The role involves preparing daily reports, attending meetings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and construction drawings. This position requires frequent travel, with expenses covered for out-of-town assignments, and may involve working 6-7 days per week with significant overtime during the construction season.

Hard Skills

  • Familiarity with construction specifications

  • Ability to write daily/weekly reports

  • Nuclear Gauge/density certification

  • Landfill construction experience

  • ACI Certification

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Work Environment

This position will require working outdoors at various landfill locations, capable of withstanding very hot or very cold weather conditions. The role involves working 8-10 hour days primarily on foot. Sites are usually regional.
