Job Summary:

The Senior Product Manager is a seasoned professional that works under limited supervision to ensure that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals. This role will work independently to develop product roadmaps that maintain and add value to customers. Leads the execution of detailed demand planning for all product/service lines based on input from industry, market and competitor analyses. This role will manage standard management routine activities pertaining to Product Growth Teams facilitating meetings, measuring metrics, conducting analytics and utilizing an effective visual management system.

Where is the work:

Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule, with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product through the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision.

  • Develop product strategy roadmap and tactical execution plan for the product, including timelines goals, and investments that supports growth objectives.

  • Collaborates with internal experts and channel partners on customer requirements. May interact directly with customers.

  • Interacts with engineering to ensure product design, quality, reliability and profitability goals are met.

  • Engages and collaborates with functional partners in developing the strategy roadmap.

  • Communicates product roadmap and plan with Business Unit product planning team; coordinates the plan with functional partners.

  • Interacts with the sales team to review and adjust the distribution strategy for each product/service line based on performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other technical related degree

  • Master's degree preferred but not required.

  • A minimum of 4 years of product management or other relevant experience

  • Ability to travel up to 15%

  • Must have a strong technical aptitude and the ability to work across different functions, regions, and internal stakeholders

  • Strong financial acumen is required

  • Excellent organization skills and flexibility to handle a variety of time sensitive tasks and projects

  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective support on a broad range of activities requiring attention to detail

  • Solid analytical and communication skills

  • Be able to perform effectively as a team member and be able to work independently in the pursuit of company objectives

  • Knowledge of the transport refrigeration business, trucking industry and technical knowledge preferred

Compensation:

Base salary for this position is $110,000 - $150,000

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
