Job Title: Psychiatrist

Location: Westland MI

Type of Position: Locums, Locums-to-Perm

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks with the option to extend

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shift (business hours)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct clinical care to pediatric patients

• Provide clinical supervision

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatry assessments

• Order, initiate, and interpret laboratory tests

• Participate in treatment planning

• Discharge patients back to community from inpatient setting

Patient Volume: 7-9 patients per day

Required Certifications:

• DEA

• BLS

• MI State License (No licensure candidates)

Experience:

• Completion of an accredited child psychiatry residency.

• Be board certified or board eligible.

• Completion of Child Fellowship preferred.

Interview Process: Teams interview

Orientation: On-site shadowing and training

Privileging Process: 1 day
