No Weekends! About the Position Patient Access Services Representative - Clinic Part-time and Casual schedules. Further details available upon interview/request. Days On-site at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital in Grand Rapids Job Summary: The Patient Access Services Representative is responsible for completing the registration process within patients. They is responsible for verifying insurance and assuring that registrations are completed. They are responsible for initiating referrals and financially securing accounts. Here's what you'll do when you join us: Arrive all patients who come in for scheduled appointments by obtaining necessary consents, signatures, documents, and insurance verification from the patient. Schedule patient appointments. Collect co-pays at time of service. Identify coverage or self-pay issues. Engaging the Financial Advocates as needed. Enter patient information and scan required documents in the scheduling system. Collaborate with the Business Department to support revenue cycle. Utilize great customer service skills with both patients and coworkers.
