Senior Optimizely Developer Job Description

Summary

This role is responsible for building and implementing web applications and digital platforms using Optimizely DXP to create engaging user experiences. You will analyze business needs, design scalable solutions, and integrate various systems with Optimizely. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the company’s efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build features for existing applications, improve integrations, and upgrade the business application portfolio.

• Lead the design and technical strategy for Optimizely integration projects.

• Analyze existing software and recommend improvements.

• Oversee the integration of Optimizely with other applications and systems.

• Use continuous integration practices for deploying code.

• Work with C#, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Azure, and GitHub.

• Collaborate with IT and business groups, demonstrating excellent communication and a service mindset.

• Guide and mentor development teams.

• Stay up-to-date with Optimizely features and advise on their use.

• Collaborate with data management teams on data integrity and security.

• Manage the health and performance of Optimizely applications.

• Evaluate and implement add-ons or complementary technologies.

• Participate in developing a long-term Optimizely roadmap.

  Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience with C#.

• 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JavaScript, Next.js.

• Experience with REST web services.

• Understanding of Git fundamentals.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience with CI/CD principles.

• Experience with Entity Framework Core.

• Experience working in a PCI environment.

• Experience with Optimizely Hybrid Headless DXP and Azure.

• Proficiency in Optimizely APIs, web services, and enterprise systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management.
