Aerotek Mold Set-Up Technician in Grandview, Missouri

Plastics Manufacturing - Injection Mold Set-Up Technician - Entry Level Openings

Work Environment: Climate-controlled facility - Automated and fast-paced work environment

Experience/ Skills:

· Entry Level/ Apprentice Injection Mold position – must be willing to learn and eager to learn

· Experience in plastics manufacturing and with injection molding machinery preferred; machine set up, operation, preventative maintenance etc.

· Basic Knowledge about molding machines, their operation, set up, care and maintenance

· Knowledge of various plastic materials as well as hydraulic, electrical and mechanical understanding

Job Duties:

· The Molding Set-up Technician sets/pulls molds in injection molding machines for startup by process technicians for production.

· The Molding Set-up Technician also sets up machine auxiliary equipment to ensure proper part containment during production runs.

· This position also assists with color changes and line clearances as required.

· This position also requires the ability to plan and perform the sequence of operations and the making of major decisions, involving the running or stopping of molds.
