We are looking for a skilled maintenance guru looking continue growing their skillset at a busy airport hotel. You will help the Chief Engineer ensure the timely completion of projects, guide and mentor Associates on growing their skillsets, and troubleshoot or t ake corrective action of maintenance issues to continue hotel operations. Starting Wage: $21.00

Shift: Varies, primarily mid-shift

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Supervisor is to supervise engineering staff and ensure work orders are completed in a timely basis according to brand standards so that guests can have an excellent experience throughout their stay.

Work Performed:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:

  • Assist in managing building assets including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electricalsystems;

  • Assist in effectively planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenanceprograms;

  • Conduct roomand equipmentinspections and identify repairneeds;

  • Ensures allAssociateshave the proper supplies and equipment, through using company approvedorderingplatforms;

  • Conduct appropriate coaching and accountability ofengineeringassociatesin accordance with Atrium’s CoreValues;

  • Assist with scheduling Associates according to businesslevels;

  • Assist in vendorproposals;

  • Ensure proper sanitization/disinfecting/cleaning of your work area and area after you workcompleted; 

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions toleadership;

  • Complete tasks that could have been assigned Maintenance Technician;and

  • Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications:

Required Prior Experience:

One (1) year of prior engineering/maintenance experience

Preferred Prior Experience:

Prior supervisory and/or leadership experience

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Licenses/ Certification:

HVAC, Electrical and/or Plumbing Certification

Physical:

Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally

Able to bend and squat repeatedly;

Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift

Other:

Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
