School Social Worker - Full-Time 2024-25 School Years

Join AnthroMed Education, an innovative organization committed to supporting Social Workers in delivering exceptional services to students within our partner schools. Our mission is to foster a collaborative environment that addresses the diverse needs of our students. 

We are currently looking for a full-time School Social Worker to join our team and provide support to students within a therapeutic day setting near Grayslake, IL for the 2024-25 school year.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct Assessments: Evaluate students' needs through formal assessments and develop appropriate action plans.

  • Advocate for Students: Act as a liaison between the student, school, and community resources to ensure students’ rights and needs are met.

  • Promote a Positive School Climate: Foster an inclusive and supportive school environment that promotes the well-being of all students.

  • Collaborate with Teachers and Staff: Work with educators and school personnel to identify and support at-risk students.

  • Maintain Confidential Records: Keep detailed and confidential records of student interactions, progress, and interventions.

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work

  • IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work

  • Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
